Unraveler is a monstrous son of Kagan and a vile creature that exudes a foul stench wherever it goes. It appears in BloodRayne 2 as a guardian inside Kagan’s tower.
Appearance[]
The Unraveler is a grotesque vampire with brown leathery skin, muscular arms and spider-like hind legs. It’s face is skull-like with no visible eyes and a wide gaping mouth full of pointed teeth.
Plot[]
After Rayne fights through several bio-armors and minions, she finds herself inside the Unraveler’s “playroom”. The creature climbs down a large bio-strand and chews apart a minion to pieces, much to Rayne’s surprise and disgust. She can kill it with either her Blood Hammer rockets or destroying the supports to the bio-strands. It falls down into the pit in floor, dead.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Climbing: It can move up and down its large bio-strand with ease and not turn its body in the opposite direction.
- Bite: It can unhinge his gaping toothy jaws to bite down and tear apart it’s prey or swallow them whole.
- Projectile Vomit: It can vomit out its stomach contents in a dense acidic ball of flesh and bone that hits with great force at a long distance.
Trivia[]
- A concept art of the Unraveler in the art gallery shows it to be a half-brother of Rayne.
- In one of the levels of Kagan’s tower before Rayne’s fight the Unraveler, two minions are behind a double-door that can’t be opened and have a conversation about the creature and how their jobs of guarding the Unraveler is pointless.
- Upon defeating Unraveler on the PS4/PS5 and Steam remastered versions, you earn the trophy "Tightrope".
